Using a Party Bus in Ministry Work

There are nearly 50 women in our women’s ministry, and we all wanted to go to Peterborough to listen to an evangelist speak about a woman’s role in today’s society. It is something that we are all passionate about, so we decided to just go ahead and go. With so many of us going, we decided that it would be best to rent a bus to take us all there. While looking at them, someone suggested that we look into a Platinum party bus in Toronto. None of us had ever dealt with them, but we had to wonder if they were the right company for us.

Just the words party bus seemed to go against everything that we stand for, but it did not take us long to see that we were wrong about this. A party bus can be used for many things, including bachelor and bachelorette parties. However, they can also be used to transport large groups of employees from one location to another, such as a banquet, or to transport a lively group of women to a ministry convention 90 minutes away. We knew we could have driven there ourselves, but this just made so much more sense.

First off, it would be a lot more fun to have all of us together for the entire trip rather than split us up into groups of four and six for the various cars that could take us there. It also meant that we did not have to worry about traffic, finding parking spots, or walking to the convention center once we did find parking. We would be dropped off right at the front entrance, and we don’t have to worry about anything other than having an enjoyable time with one another. It was so much fun that I think we are going to use this mode of transportation for all of our outings in the future!
